PACDA Association Partnerships are with organizations whose fields and learning opportunities overlap with career services and whose programming will be of interest to our members. By partnering, both of our organizations maximize resources, avoid duplication, amplify each other's efforts and increase event participation. PACDA sees Partnerships as a benefit for our members! Many of our Partners offer a registration discount to PACDA members so your precious professional development dollars stretch further. Attending Partner events results in expanding your network beyond PACDA. We have partnerships with neighboring state NCDA State Divisions and groups with a focus on career services, learning and development, talent development, personality type and book authors. The Career Counselors’ Consortium Spring Into New Connections networking event Tuesday, March 23rd, 5:30 - 7:00 PM EST The Career Counselors’ Consortium (CCC) has a long-standing history in the New England area as a resource to support career professionals to reach their own potential in serving their clients. They have become more expansive with virtual offerings that can be accessed from anywhere for career professionals who are new or experienced, working in private practice or for a business, non-profit, or a college/university, or considering career professional role as a next step. PACDA members are invited to attend the CCC Spring Into New Connections networking event on March 23. Participate in a virtual scavenger hunt which will put creative minds together to complete an interactive activity. There will be two featured articles for small group discussions. Register at no cost using the promo code on the Member Resources page (valid for this event only). | Asia Pacific Career Development Conference Walking on Uncharted Career Paths May 19-29, 2021 Are you looking for an international experience but not ready to book a flight? Attend the virtual Walking on Uncharted Career Paths conference from the Asia Pacific Career Development Association. Keynotes and Professional Development Institutes by prominent career professionals, breakout sessions facilitated by career experts, social events, tours and connections with about 200 practitioners from a wide variety of Asian countries await you! Find out what’s happening with career planning on the other side of the world! This is a great opportunity to meet colleagues who face similar issues from a slightly different cultural perspective. Plenty of CE Hours and lots of social and cultural opportunities are included in low registration fees. Due to the time difference between Singapore and EST, attending the conference live 10 pm – 2 am will work best for night owls, but no jet lag necessary.
