Widening the Ethical Decision-Making Lens of Career Practitioners

Join Carolyn D. Jones, MEd, CMCS, CCSP for an engaging, interactive webinar exploring how cultural and generational factors influence ethical decision-making in career development practice. Drawing from her decades of experience in higher education leadership, consulting, and workforce development, Carolyn will provide guidance on identifying and interpreting ethical issues through cultural and generational lenses and analysis of real-world case studies along live polls and a Q&A session. Participants will leave with enhanced skills for ethical awareness, practical frameworks for culturally competent decision-making, and strategies for integrating generational understanding into their client work.

Career
Like many of us in private practice, Carolyn does independent career coaching and has affiliations with other organizations. She was the Executive Director of Career Services for nearly 14 years at Montclair State University.
Professional Leadership
She has held numerous leadership roles in the field, including Past President of the National Career Development Association (2023–2024), former co-chair of NCDA’s Ethics Committee, former Trustee for NCDA State Divisions, and Past President for the Florida CDA.

PACDA and PSCA members: After the event, complete the post-event survey, then email ceu@thepacda.org to obtain your certificate of attendance, which you can then submit via the PSCA website.
Not a PACDA or PSCA member?: You may be able to obtain Act 48 credit. After the event, complete the post-event survey, then email ceu@thepacda.org to obtain your certificate of attendance. Submit this to the Pennsylvania Department of Education via your local education agency, which will have the final say on whether this program qualifies for Act 48 credit. Or, you may submit via the Pennsylvania School Counselor Association for $10.
