Session Description: In today's workplace, practices that inadvertently undermine employee mental health can gradually reduce engagement, retention, and team cohesion. This interactive session is designed for career counselors and career practitioners to explore how to cultivate a positive team culture that support well-being, prevents burnout, and promotes sustainable engagement.

Grounded in a person-centered and systems-based counseling framework, participants will:

• Examine how workplace practices, policies, and leadership behaviors can either support or derail mental health
• Learn to identify harmful patterns and implement ethical, practical strategies to protect employee well-being.
• Discover how to enact a comprehensive toolkit that promotes engagement, psychological safety, and retention at both individual and team levels.
• Reflect on ways to integrate ethical principles including non-maleficence and beneficence into daily leadership and career counseling practices
