Integrative Career Counseling: Keeping our Career Clients on Track When Mental Health Issues Emerge
Thursday, November 30, 2023
Many clients seeking career counseling are also struggling with anxiety, depression or other mental illness. Ignoring a client’s mental health struggles isn’t productive or humane, but getting sidetracked by those mental health issues isn’t helpful, either. How can career professionals strike the right balance? The Integrative Career Counseling (ICC) framework provides a roadmap for navigating the mental health issues our career clients experience.
You will learn the four levels of the ICC framework, and then view career professionals apply the framework to real-world client challenges.
Presenter: Karen James Chopra, LPC, CCC, NCC, has been a career counselor in private practice for nearly twenty-five years.
