In the fall of 2021 the Membership Committee conducted a survey to learn about your needs and expectations. Questions were focused on these topics:
- Member Satisfaction
- Event Attendance
- Primary Areas of Interest
- Communications
- PACDA Social Media Use
- Event Topic Preferences
- How PACDA Can Help You
Your responses provided us with much guidance in moving forward. Here are some highlights of your feedback:
- 41% of PACDA members belong to NCDA
- Most members belong to other organizations -- only 10 don’t
- 17 members are self-employed; 23 work full-time; 62 are contractors
- Most members are likely to renew
- Some membership decisions depend on financial considerations and whether employers pay
- 14 members have never attended an event
- There is a very high level of satisfaction with the topics selected and programs delivered by the Programming Committee
- 53 respondents had no suggestions for improvement (we must be doing things right!)
- 29 members follow PACDA on LinkedIn; Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are less utilized (suggests opportunity to attract younger followers)
- All proposed program topics received positive responses
- Over half of members were at least somewhat interested in earning CEUs from PACDA programs, but they noted nine different types of CEUs. Only NCDA and NBCC received more than four votes each.
The various PACDA committees have already moved forward in utilizing the survey data to guide and put action plans in place that respond to your needs.
